High-speed cyclone cleaner

Purpose of SIOT-6 washers

High-speed washers SIOT-6 are recommended for cleaning of dusty air in ventilation hoods from different types of wettable dust, except for cementing and fibrous dust, as well as condensation aerosols.

The washers are used for cleaning of air with initial dust concentration up to 5000 mg/m3.

Construction of cyclone washers SIOT-7.

The cyclone-cleaner-SIOT-6 is a straight-flow wet dust-cleaner which traps the dust by means of its precipitation on the wet walls of the case under centrifugal force and washing the air with atomized water.

The washers are installed on metal pedestals, where the distance from the bottom point of the bottom to the floor is 2.5 m. Variants of washers installation on the floors of buildings are possible.

The backwashers can be right or left-handed. It is recommended to install the cyclones at suction (before the fan), at that it is necessary to provide water drainage from the bottom of the fan case.

Water pressure in front of the upper nozzles must be 1 kgf/mg and be constant. The recommended air velocities (Vî) in the circular section of the inlet nozzle are within 14 ... 20 m/s. At these velocities the whole range of washers covers the area of throughput capacity from 12.5 to 280 thous. m3/h. Degree of purification of air for particles less than 5 microns amounts to 95% at Vо=20 m/s and 90% at Vо=14 m/s.
