I don’t think you know or have even heard of counterrotation as a type of ventilation system. And for us, this is a very familiar concept. Because KVZ is a manufacturer of counter-rotating fans!
Manufacturers who produce high-pressure ventilation systems, to which KVZ definitely belongs, need fans that can create a really high level of pressure. And for axial fans, unlike centrifugal ones, this is a very difficult decision. In these cases, we often find ourselves in a situation where it is very difficult to meet this requirement with a conventional axial fan. And therefore counter-rotating fans (CRF) can be the answer to this challenge. By using two counter-rotating impellers in the fan, we can create a much higher pressure compared to using a single fan. And a very big advantage of this particular CRF solution is a higher efficiency ratio. In relation to the “mono” standard solution, this can be up to 10% in plus efficiency, which is a very, very good indicator.
