In the machine-building industry, all global leaders in our segment are struggling to achieve a defect rate below 1%. The leaders keep the bar at 0.2-0.4%. Over the past 9 months, we have conducted an in-depth analysis of all complaints and found shocking information….😱
During all this time, there were only 12 complaints! But the most interesting thing is this: only 2 of them were related to the quality of fans and 10 to the quality of electric motors (which we do not manufacture but buy from suppliers). That is, in fact, there were only 2 complaints about the quality of our equipment in the 9 months of operation of the plant, which produces hundreds of fans per month.
And now the main figure: 0.007% is the percentage of complaints about our products!
In 9 months of 2024, we received only 2 complaints about the quality of our equipment.
The first complaint was from a very demanding customer about the vibration level, which seemed to be high. After checking the parameters on the balancing stand, it turned out that they were normal and met the requirements of DSTU ISO 14694:2005.
The second complaint about the failure of the bearing unit was caused by incorrect belt tension on the pulleys at the site of operation. Thus, as of today, the plant has demonstrated 100% absolute quality.
So how did we achieve 100% quality in 9 months of operation and production of thousands of fans and other products?
First of all, it is a multi-level quality control at almost all stages of production. But the main reason is different: we are the only plant in Ukraine that checks 100% of its fans by running the fan assembly and measuring all fan parameters.
Once again, every fan that leaves the KVZ plant has been fully launched, reaching its rated operating conditions, and important parameters have been measured and recorded.
