This cyclone is a modification of the cyclone of class CN-15, in which the purified gas is discharged through the chamber in the form of a “snail”.

Design advantages

Cyclones of class CN-15U, as a rule, are made of carbon steel in left or right execution. Under the order for special needs of the buyer, cyclones of class CN-15U can also be made of other types of metal, for example, stainless steel. In the cyclones of the right-hand design, the passing flow rotates in the direction of movement of the clock hands, if observed from the location of the “cochlea”, the left-hand – against the movement.

The capacity of cyclone models TsN-15U varies from 400 to 40 000 m3/h, the diameter of the cylindrical part – from 200 to 2000 millimeters, the working pressure is 5000 Pa. The choice of the angle of inclination of the nozzle at the inlet to the horizontal axis depends on the properties of the contaminants to be trapped. The hopper of the cyclone TsN-15U has a pyramidal shape.

Field of application

Cyclones of class CN-15U are designed for dry cleaning of flue gases generated during the processes of drying, agglomeration, firing, fuel combustion, etc. for cleaning of aspiration air. Cyclones TsN-15U are widely demanded in the industries where, as a result of crushing, grinding, transportation of raw materials, the air environment is polluted with dry sawdust, straw, easily volatile ash, small foreign particles, dust.

Thus, the direct purpose, for example, CN-15U-1000 is to collect dry sawdust at a bulk density of 100-150 kg/m3, CN-15U-700 is to remove dried straw at a bulk density of 100-120 kg/m3. TsN-15U are widely demanded at the enterprises of chemical, woodworking, oil refining industries, metallurgy, power engineering, in the production of building materials, in mechanical engineering.

Features of operation

The operation of the cyclone CN-15U should be accompanied by continuous or periodic removal of separated waste from the hopper. Cyclones TsN-15U must not be used in the presence of explosive working environment, adhering dust. The surface of the cyclones must be insulated to avoid burns of the operating personnel. The temperature of insulated surfaces more than +45 ° C is unacceptable.
