The steel casing of the unit has two compartments: a cylinder and a cone. The first one has an inlet pipe inclined to the horizontal by 24 degrees and a screw cover. The height of the cyclone is in connection with the size, its value is equal to 4.26 * D. The working pressure in the system is 5000 Pa.

When installing the cyclone TsN-24 outside the building behind the dust fan – functioning on discharge, it is necessary to install an umbrella to prevent precipitation from entering the system. When installing the cyclone TsN-24 to the fan device – discharge operation, a coil-discharger is required to reduce the hydraulic resistance of the system in general and the load on the fan in particular.
