Low Pressure Fans
Kiev ventilation plant provides its customers with the opportunity to choose, purchase fans with different characteristics. On the Plant’s website, you can find a wide range of centrifugal (radial) low-pressure fans, the technical parameters of which are directly related to the dimension-type of the scroll housing and the impeller (the aggregation of the scroll housing with various impeller coefficients is allowed), the design of the fan and the type and power of the electric motor. Different series of low-pressure centrifugal fans manufactured by our plant are designed for transporting air, steam and gas-air flows, including explosive and aggressive, chemically resistant in relation to carbon and stainless steels, aluminum alloys, and dissimilar metals. The concentration of dust and fine solid inclusions in the working gas-vapor mixture should not exceed 100 mg/m3, and the temperature of the working stream itself – 80°C (for heat-resistant VC 4-76 ZH – 200°C). The presence in it of fibrous materials and sticky inclusions for all series of fans is prohibited. The presence of explosives, increased oxygen concentration for a series of explosion-proof fans VC 4-75 (dissimilar metals design) and VC 4-70 (aluminum alloys design) is not allowed. The principle of operation of the low-pressure radial fan is based on the use of the action of centrifugal forces, which is expressed in the pushing out of air masses. The following types of metals are used for the production of low-pressure fans:
- VC 4-75 – carbon steel;
- VC 4-76 ZH – special high-temperature carbon steel;
- VC 4-70 – aluminum alloys (explosive working environment and special corrosion resistance normal operating conditions);
- VC 4-75 – stainless steel (the working environment is contaminated with impurities of aggressive vapors and gases that are chemically resistant in relation to stainless steel and reactive with ordinary steel);
- VC 4-75 – dissimilar metals (explosive working environment).
All modifications of the fans (design schemes for number one and five) are equipped with twelve vanes, pass one hundred percent dynamic and static balancing. All this allows in a short time to carry out the installation, and then the launch of the equipment to work. Depending on the application, the fans are equipped with engines of the following brands: AIR or 4VR with different parameters (kW power, rotational speed, rpm).
Our plant was the first in Ukraine and in the CIS market to introduce mass production of impellers for low-pressure fans with a special conical hub, which greatly facilitates assembly in production, installation, maintenance, and routine replacement during operation of fans.
Different series of low-pressure VC, produced by Kyiv Ventilator Plant, developed mainly for operation in temperate or tropical climates with placement categories 3 and 2, respectively, based on the requirements GOST 15150-69. The optimum ambient temperature for the operation of such equipment is limited to the range: +40°C to minus 40°C. Thanks to the wide standard line, based on the mounting of the design, the design scheme, and also on the type of metal, the customer can easily select the required ventilation equipment.
