1. PURPOSE
Thermal curtains TZE are used to protect passages with a height of 3 to 5 meters from the effects of external climatic conditions. They effectively perform their function due to two main mechanisms: firstly, mixing cold air with a hot flow from the curtain, which reduces heat loss, and, secondly, by creating an air stream that blocks the direct penetration of outside air into the environment inside the building. Recommended for use in facilities with high intensity of people’s passage (vestibules, lobbies, warehouses, industrial premises, etc.).
The design of thermal curtains allows their installation both horizontally and vertically, depending on the characteristics of the facility.

3. TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
Note:
- The effective length of the airflow can be used to estimate the allowable installation height or width curtains. It corresponds to the parameters only for normal environmental conditions (tн ≥ 0°C, wind 1 m/s) and balanced supply and exhaust ventilation. Any deterioration in conditions will reduce the effective length of the aerial stream.
4. CONSTRUCTION
Constructively, the curtain is made of galvanized steel covered with a high-quality polymer coating. Inside the case are located: impeller, air heating heaters (electric heaters), engine block, heater resistors

Special fan impellers provide the necessary air flow. Air from the room is sucked through the front panel of the curtain, is heated by electric heaters and is discharged through a nozzle in the form of a directed stream. The set includes a wall remote control for the curtain.
Class of protection against electric shock – 1.
The degree of protection provided by the shell is IP21.
The useful life of curtains is 5 years.
There are no precious metals.

5. WORKING ALGORITHM

Management of curtain operation modes is carried out from a mechanical wall-mounted control panel (hereinafter the panel). There is inside ambient temperature sensor. The degree of protection of the shell of the remote control is IP30. The purpose of the terminals of the control panel (PU-01) is shown in Figure 12.
The wall remote has a mechanical control that includes 3 switches and a rotary control for selection air temperature:

- ON/OFF switch for turning on/off the curtain;
- “FAN” switch for selecting the flow rate, which has three ascending positions, respectively “1”, “2” and “3”;
- The “HEAT” switch, which has 3 positions, respectively “OFF” – air heating is turned off, “2” – maximum heating air and “1” – half of the maximum heating power;
- Mechanical regulator for choosing the desired temperature with a scale.
