Purpose of LTA-6 cyclones

Cyclone LTA-6 is used to clean the air from large particles such as chips or shavings and wet fine particles such as sawdust from machine tools and sawmills, as well as in the technological process to separate coarse chips. The LTA-6 ventilation cyclone is also used as a discharge cyclone. The air purification efficiency is 85-90%. When transporting dry chips or sawdust, when a lot of fine dust is formed, or when there is grinding dust in the transported material, LTA cyclones do not provide sufficient air purification and require a second cleaning stage.

Installation of LTA-6 cyclones

When installing the cyclone outdoors after the blower for discharge operation, an umbrella is required to prevent precipitation from entering the system. When installing the cyclone upstream of the fan, for discharge operation, a fan coil is required to reduce the load on the fan and the hydraulic resistance of the system as a whole.
