General information about Cyclone RISI-8

The scope of application of such a unit as a cyclone is ventilation, usually industrial. Cyclone RISI-8 is designed by "Rostov Engineering and Construction Institute". Cyclone RISI-8 operating principle

The RISI air cyclone cleans the gas mixture according to the principle of centrifugal force. Once the air enters the cyclone, the flow swirls and centrifugal force takes effect. The solid particles move from the center towards the walls, where they are spirally deposited into the hopper.

• Through a side opening, the fibrous, sticky material enters the unit, where the cleaning process begins;
• Fibrous particles after twisting move in the direction of the cyclone walls with simultaneous entrapment of smaller ones and gradually reach the lower outlet in a spiral (movement speed 4 - 8 m/s, number of revolutions 4-8);
• The RISI cyclone ejects purified gas through the top opening;
• The solids accumulate in the hopper.
