UC-38
Cyclones UC-38 are powerful units, the direct purpose of which is air purification at woodworking enterprises, in the food industry and in the agricultural sector. Due to the fact that this equipment is able to effectively cope with the dust of the smallest fractions, it is often used to clean the air from flour dust and at enterprises whose sphere of activity is related to the treatment of dust in the production process.

Cyclones of class UC-38 are designed to collect finely dispersed solid inclusions in aspiration units and pneumatic transport systems in order to prevent environmental pollution by production waste.
Design advantages
Cyclones of class UC-38 are made of carbon and stainless steel, for convenience of placement in place – right and left versions. In the first case, the flow rotates in the cyclone in the direction of movement of the clock hands when observed from the location of the exhaust pipe, in the second – against the movement of the clock hands. A “snail” or “umbrella” is mounted on the exhaust pipe depending on the location of the fan. The cyclone operates under discharge – “snail” is installed, under pressure – “umbrella”.
The productivity of cyclone models of class UC-38 varies from 140 to 2040 m3/h, the diameter of the cylindrical part is 250÷850 millimeters, the working pressure is constantly 5000 Pa. Principle of operation Separation of fine debris from contaminated air, which entered the cyclone through the side pipe, occurs due to the rotational-downward movement of the air flow. Dust contamination is thrown to the walls by centrifugal force, poured out along a helical trajectory through the conical section of the cyclone into the dust collecting hopper. Outside, the cleaned air flow is directed through the upper opening of the cyclone.

Field of application
Cyclones of class UC-38 are in demand in hulling and grinding shops of cereal and flour mills. These units are also used at woodworking enterprises for filtration of technological emissions from small sawdust, shavings, non-fibrous and non-sticky inclusions, grinding dust.
Features of installation and operation
Cyclones of class УЦ-38 are made in climatic version UHL for temperate and cold macroclimatic regions when used in accordance with GOST 15150-69 – placement in categories 1, 2, 3, 4, in aspiration systems of production categories B, C, D, E (explosion and fire hazard). Cyclones of class UC-38 are mounted on both suction and discharge sides of the fan. This is specified in the design documents for construction. Accordingly, the installation of “snails” or “umbrellas” is necessary.
During operation, the hopper should be freed from dust accumulation in time – as it is filled to 70 ÷ 80%. During the installation of the cyclone, its maintenance, special attention is paid to the quality of internal surfaces in contact with the purified air, sealing of the air duct system. The surface of cyclones must be insulated to avoid burns of the working personnel. The temperature of the insulating surface above + 45 ° C is unacceptable.
