Principle of operation of PVM 40SA cyclones

The air cleaning process in the PVM 40SA cyclones is as follows: the dusty air enters the casing through the inlet pipe, rushing at high speed through the gap between the water surface and the lower edge of the baffle, capturing water with itself. The water entrained by the air is deflected by the droplet eliminator and drains to the outermost compartments. The purified air passes through the droplet eliminators and is discharged to the outside by the fan.

In the PVMSA type dust collector, sludge, which either dissolves in water or settles at the bottom of the dust collector, is removed through a special gate valve, which is conveniently located at the bottom of the unit. To remove the sludge as effectively as possible, a special flushing device, which is located near the gate valve, is often used.

Thus, the air purification efficiency when using PVM dust collectors reaches 95-99%, depending on the nature and size of the cleaned particles.
