Smoke exhausters

“Kiev ventilation plant” offers its customers a wide range of exhaust machines with different parameters, varying from each other in design features. Depending on the needs of the customer, our plant is able to produce a variety of models of smoke exhausters, the technical parameters of which are directly related to the size of the impeller and scroll housing (aggregation of the scroll housing with coefficient wheels is permissible), to the smoke exhauster design scheme, type and motor power, as well as features of a particular modification.
We are proud to say that today our plant produces exhaust machines of the highest quality in the Ukrainian market. Moreover, the latest innovations introduced in the production technology of smoke exhausters, give us significant advantages over a number of European manufacturers.
Exhaust fans D and DN produced by our factory are single inlet exhaust fans. These machines are usually equipped with high efficiency ash collection systems. These smoke exhausters are successfully demanded in technological installations of various kinds for transportation of non-aggressive gases with concentrations of foreign suspended particles not exceeding 2 g/m3, and sometimes aggressive and explosive environments. In the latter cases, the material of the flow part of the exhaust fan must be resistant to the effects of such an environment. D and DN smoke exhaust units are designed for long-term operation at a temperature of the transported gas medium not exceeding 200°C (short-term 250°C).
Smoke exhausters D and DN are monoblocks, the rotary bodies of which have spiral appearance. Twenty blades of the impeller of the smoke exhauster D 3,5 M, thirty-two blades of smoke exhausters D and sixteen blades of smoke exhausters DN are bent back. The nominal diameter of the smoke exhauster D 3,5M on the outer edges of the blades is 3.5 decimeters. The peculiarity of the designs of D and DN smoke exhausters is presence of linings on the blades, armor plate on the generatrix of the scroll housing. The principle of operation of these smoke exhausters is the movement of the removed medium due to the receipt of rotational energy from the main working body, the wheel. The centrifugal force deflects the contaminated flow in the direction of the radius almost at 90°, which then, bypassing the scroll housing, leaves the unit. The resulting vacuum in the central zone of the wheel contributes to a constant flow of air. Smoke exhausters, as a rule, are made from one type of metal: carbon steel (standard design). In some cases, due to custom technological features of production on customer’s order, smoke exhausters can also be made of different grades of stainless steel or of dissimilar metals. The above-mentioned series of smoke exhausters can be ordered in right or left designs of any angle of rotation. The rotating elements of D and DN smoke exhausters undergo the full procedure of dynamic and static balancing. During mass production, important innovative solutions were introduced into the constructional design of these smoke exhausters, some elements of the constructional design were upgraded.
Our plant was the first in the Ukrainian market to make significant changes in the design of the running gear of large smoke exhausters and heavy duty machines. Today, we use technologies in production that allow us to avoid the use of heavy and technologically obsolete intermediate bearings, replacing them with the most modern and world’s best SKF, SNR case bearings, capable of operating in temperature conditions of up to 300 °C. This technological solution significantly improved the quality of the chassis of smoke exhausters manufactured according to the 3rd construction scheme, and also significantly reduced the overall weight of the product, accelerated its production, simplified installation and commissioning. This innovation has given its ever more greatest advantages directly to our customers in the process of operation, as any technical work and routine replacements carried out on the smoke exhauster have become much simpler and more convenient. Drives of smoke exhausters of standard execution are three-phase engines of the АИР(AIR)-standard brands with different characteristics (rotation speed, power). At the moment, a series of smoke exhausters equipped with high-class WEG engines has been launched, the quality of these smoke exhausters is in no way inferior to modern European analogues.
Our plantwas the first in the CIS market and in Ukraine to carry out serial production of impellers for smoke exhausters with a special cone-shaped hub, which greatly facilitates the assembly at the place of use, installation, maintenance, and routine replacements during the operation of smoke exhausters. Climatic modification type of smoke exhausters D is “УХЛ” (“UHL”) (moderate and cold region), placement in categories 1 ÷ 4, DN – “У” (“U”) smoke exhausters (moderate region) and “T” (tropical region), accommodation in category 2 (GOST15150-69 standards). The buyer can easily select the required model of the exhauster, based on the mounting scheme, construction scheme, as well as the type of metal.
