We have purchased two balancing machines: one for small parts weighing up to 150 kg and the other for powerful rotors weighing up to 10 tonnes. Kyiv Fan Plant has become one of the few companies in Central Europe to have access to such high-quality equipment.
This high-precision equipment allows us to reduce the time for testing and installation of each fan, ensuring the extreme accuracy of the measurement results. The vibration level of our products now exceeds ISO 14694 standards by a factor of 10.
The new equipment makes it possible to balance the impellers together with the shaft, avoiding their dismantling, which often led to residual imbalance during transport and installation. This technique allows us to achieve maximum stability and precision in the operation of our fans.
The main characteristics of the machines are impressive:
– Speed range: 120 to 12,000 rpm;
– Minimum resolution of just 0.001 mg;
– Measuring time of only 3 seconds;
– Dynamic measuring range: 1:100000.
Interestingly, Tesla uses similar equipment to balance electric motor rotors.
