Purpose of UC-1100 cyclones

Cyclones-dust collectors UC-1100 are designed for purification of technological emissions from non-caking, non-fibrous dust, as well as dust mixtures with dry sawdust and shavings of woodworking industries.

All sizes of cyclones of UC type have four modifications depending on the ratio of the exhaust pipe diameter to the casing diameter. As the number of modification increases, the cyclones of each caliber (diameter) change their technological characteristics - emission purification factor and aerodynamic resistance.

Design and configuration of UC-1100 cyclones

Cyclones UC-1100 are manufactured in right-hand and left-hand versions. The first type includes the equipment, in which the material-air flows in the plan rotate clockwise. The left-hand design, on the contrary, is characterized by the anti-clockwise rotation of the material-air flow. The manufacture of units in two versions is caused by the need to rationally place the equipment or to coordinate them in case of their arrangement in pairs.

Cyclones can be equipped with a volute on the exhaust pipe or an umbrella, which depends on the location of the fan. If the UC cyclone is installed on the discharge side of the ventilating equipment, it is necessary to use ventilation umbrellas. If the equipment is installed on the suction side of the fan, "snails" are used. Dust removal from the hopper can be carried out periodically or continuously. However, the upper level of dust particles must be at least 400 mm below the hopper cover.

Cyclones UC-1100 are manufactured in the climatic modification "UHL" of placement category 1, 2, 3, 4 according to 15150-96 national standard, in aspiration systems of industrial categories B, C, D and D according to explosion, fire and explosion hazard.

Installation and use of UC-1100 cyclones
