CR

Cyclones CR are designed to capture large fractions of dust at grain processing enterprises, where it is necessary to clean the air during transportation and loading of products without significant energy consumption.

Marking of the cyclone of class CR:
“CR – 200”, where:
- “C” for cyclone;
- “R” – unloader;
- “200” – inner diameter of the cylinder, mm.
Aspiration systems of industrial cereal crops processing facilities are equipped with high-efficiency dust collecting cyclones of the CR class. This is done to comply with the standards of maximum permissible emissions of pollutants into the atmosphere.
Structural advantages
Cyclones of class CR are made of carbon, stainless steel in right or left design. In the cyclones of the left design, the passing flow rotates counterclockwise when viewed from the location of the exhaust outlet, the right – in the direction of the clockwise movement.
The capacity of fifteen models of cyclones CR varies from 200 to 1895 m3/h, the diameter of the cylindrical part – from 200 to 550 millimeters at an operating pressure of 5000 Pa. The inlet velocity of the contaminated flow for these cyclones is 14-18 m/s, the resistance level is from 700 to 900 Pa. The efficiency of dusty air purification reaches 90%.
The principle of operation
The contaminated air flow, bypassing the inlet, enters the inside of the cyclone. The centrifugal forces arising due to its rotational motion throw foreign particles to the walls of the cyclone. The purified air is discharged outside through the exhaust pipe located in the upper part of the cyclone, the separated waste is poured into the discharge cone.
Advantages
Advantages of cyclones-unloaders of class CR in comparison with cyclones of other classes: low level of resistance, low power consumption.
Field of application
Cyclones of the class CR are widely demanded for collecting dust particles of medium fractions in aspiration units, in pneumatic conveying systems of grain cleaning sections of mills, large fractions in those grain processing plants where it is necessary to clean the air flow, excluding significant energy consumption, for example, when loading grain, moving products, unloading it. Cyclones-unloaders CR are quite effective for cleaning the air flow from sawdust and chips in the pneumatic transport systems of woodworking enterprises, where there is no need to install high-performance cyclones.
Features of operation
When installing the cyclone and its maintenance, special attention should be paid to the sealing of the air duct system, the quality of the internal surfaces in contact with the purified air. Cyclone surfaces should be insulated to prevent burns. The temperature of the insulating surface should not exceed +45 °С.
